The screen looks better, but not the picture quality itself. Short_Guy1104. • 1 yr. ago. That goes to show how good the cameras have been the last few years. But the quality should certainly not be worse. It should be on par if not better in most situations. Lowlight should see the most improvement. The regular iphone 15 has roughly 54% more battery life than the 7. Considering your 7 is at 65% battery health, you will feel that a new 15 has more than double the battery life. Either one will be an amazing upgrade! The pink is stunning. :) 128 gb is doable but will second that 256 will be more future proof. Apple claims the X battery life is just one hours shorter than the 8 Plus. Some battery tests show the Plus lasting more, others show the X lasting more. Exact life depends on your usage, so I’d say the battery lives are functionally identical. Narrower screen: smaller text, smaller keyboard, shorter landscape videos. It has the same camera and features, except just one lens – the wide-angle camera, instead of the dual-lens – which brings in slight telephoto, like on the XS and XS Max, 8 Plus and 7 Plus. Rumor Discussion. Pixel 8. iPhone 15 Pro. Price. $700 (and $325 trade-in for P6) $1000 (and $90 trade-in for P6) Trade-in or Resale value after 2 years. $200-$250 (Pixel has higher trade-in value than resale value) $500-$550 (Resale is a better option) Here goes my last resort in asking for your advises. A bit of info: Current android user with 6.7" + 4,500 mAh battery and weigh slightly lighter than Plus. Daily usage: occasional camera, music for up to 5 hours, no gaming, no youtube, basic social media (no tiktok, bit of instagram, reddit, x, whatsapp), maps, banking. I got an 8 Plus a couple of months ago instead of going for the X. This was simply because I wasn’t that into Face ID and figured I might as well… But other than this size difference, you can expect similar performance from these displays: they both use LCD technology, although (surprisingly) the iPhone 8 Plus has a slightly higher pixel density (401ppi vs 326ppi). Either way, we’d still prefer the larger size of the iPhone XR display over the extra pixels of the iPhone 8 Plus. I recently traded in an iPhone 8 for a S10 and will never look back. To be clear I was a longtime android user who switched to the OG iPhone X at launch had that phone for 8 months and sold it then bought an iPhone 8 because the X was too heavy and awkward (alot wider than a lot of phones) It does have insane battery life though if that matters to you due to the lower resolution LCD screen. The 8 Plus is pretty much the pinnacle of the older classic Plus size iPhones so you can't go wrong, IMO it's the best iPhone available in terms of completeness and function. Apple has had 4 years to perfect that design from 2014-2018 and it EPybWW.
